Branding of the Fort
Orbit Signs and ADT joined forces to create one of the more difficult obsticals at the 2012 Port Elizabeth Zports & The Herald Nelson Mandela Bay Urban Run. The event was held on 16 September in the Port Elizabeth CBD.
By their nature, Urban Runs (sometimes called Urbanathlon’s) are a multi-disciplinary, city foot race with the emphasis squarely on having fun. Urban obstacles are selected / designed in such a way as to get you sweating and smiling as you’ll be running, scrambling, climbing, dangling, wading and laughing before you know it. THIS IS DEFINATELY suitable for the social fun runner who is keen to have FUN.
The objective for 2012 was to raise over R100,000 for charity. All participants were required to raise a minimum of R100 for this cause by getting donations from colleague's, friends and family members in the build up to the event. Various levels of incentives were designed to encourage participants to collect as much money as possible for the event charities.
Orbit Signs, StormForce and ADT were proud to be associated with this event.
